Nicole Miller - Senior Recruitment Consultant
After completing my MSW at University of Washington, I moved to Oxford,
England to acquire international experience as a Social Worker. I worked
as a locum on numerous teams including Children and Families Community and
Hospital Assessment teams, Family Support team, and Older Persons team.
I was most captivated by learning about the Welfare State and comparing its
strengths to the US Social Service system. In addition to work, I found
plenty of time to enjoy the British culture in Oxford and travel onto the
Continent. After two years working in the UK, I have returned to the US and
desire to assist others in having a great international professional

Leah Moreau - Recruitment Consultant
After completing my MSW at Valdosta State University in Georgia, I took a job in London to gain
international experience and to travel. Although I originally intended on staying only 6 months, I was
there for two years. I was a part of a team working with children with disabilities and their families
and found this to be a challenging but rewarding job. Despite being very busy with work, I found time to
explore London and travel around the UK and to other parts of Europe. I consider the two years I spent
there to be two of my most enjoyable years and would encourage other social workers to consider the
possibility of international social work. I've returned to America and joined the team at UK-Pro in
order to enable and assist others in the adventure that is moving and working abroad. I look foward to
